Marquees & Pavilions are a marquee hire company based in Buckinghamshire between Thame and Aylesbury. As a growing business we are searching for motivated individuals looking to be part of this success.

RIGGERS
(P/T) - April to September
This is an outdoor job ideally suited for fit, active young people looking for a summer job. You will work as part of a team erecting and dismantling frame marquees and other equipment. The work is physically demanding and, in the summer, this will involve long hours including some weekends and bank holidays.

No previous experience is necessary although applicants who have worked with frame marquees before will be preferred.

Non-UK nationals must provide evidence of a work permit, if required, and have a UK bank account.

Pay £7 - £9 per hour.

SITE MANAGER
(P/T) - April to September
You will be responsible for heading an installation crew erecting frame marquees and pavilions. You must have extensive experience with clear span marquees (up to 15m), be able to drive a 7.5tonne lorry, be able to load accurately from picking lists and complete an installation on time and to the required high standard.

The work is nearly all weddings and as a result the required quality of finish is paramount. You must be able to communicate with the riggers working in your team and the administrative staff in the office. A polite manner with clients is also essential. Longer hours during busy summer months.

Potential for full time position for the right candidate.

Pay £10 - 12 per hour.

EVENT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
(F/T) - interviewing in April 2008
Candidate will be responsible for temporary lighting installations, power distribution and operation of 3ph generators.

If you do not have 17th edition certification you will be required to attend an external workshop to obtain this.

Full driving licence essential. Longer hours during busy summer months and maintenance work, including PAT testing, during the winter.

Pay £10 - 14 per hour.
